During this time of social distancing, we're trying new and creative ways to stay connected, to provide a sense of community and spiritual nourishment, and to bring Jesus into your home and the homes of countless others across the internet.
Through SJE Plus, Youtube and Facebook, we've reflected on the Stations of the Cross, prayed the Divine Mercy Chaplet, joined in Sunday and Daily Mass every week, and sent out regular parish update videos, to name a few; we'll also be starting a virtual Alpha and Alpha 201, praying the Rosary and more.
But because of the Covid-19 safety measures, access to the Adoration Chapel has been restricted to scheduled adorers, so while you might not be able to visit Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament at the moment, that doesn't mean that Jesus can't come to you for adoration. We want to bring Jesus to you and to others by live streaming Eucharistic Adoration online. Now to pull this off, we need your help. In order to be able to stream via mobile on YouTube, we need to reach 1,000 YouTube subscribers.
We're halfway there now, so if you aren't a subscriber, please take a minute to visit us at Saint John Parish on Youtube and subscribe.
If you've subscribed then share the link with your family and friends. It's free, only takes a minute and a couple of clicks, but with every subscriber, we move one step closer to being able to stream the Blessed Sacrament from the Adoration Chapel onto phones, tablets and computers across the globe.
