  • What is The Chosen about?

    The Chosen is a groundbreaking historical drama based on the life of Jesus Christ (Jonathan Roumie), seen through the eyes of those who knew him. Set against the backdrop of Roman oppression in first-century Israel, the seven-season show shares an authentic and intimate look at Jesus’ revolutionary life and teachings.

  • Is The Chosen biblically accurate?

    The Chosen is based on the true stories of the Gospels of Jesus Christ. Some locations and timelines have been combined or condensed. Backstories and some characters or dialog have been added. 

    However, all the bible and historical context and any artistic imagination are designed to support the truth and intention of the Scriptures. Viewers are encouraged to read the scripture and the Gospels.

  • Where are we located?

    St. John the Evangelist Church is located at 10701 Olcott Avenue, Saint John, Indiana.

  • Is this really FREE?

    Yes! There is no cost to attend. Invite as many people as you'd like: family, friends, coworkers, the Starbucks barista, your mailman, all are welcome! We'll also be providing free childcare, so please complete the RSVP form to help us prepare for you.

    The Chosen team is currently working through some legal issues that have prevented them from releasing the complete 4th season.
